Manchester City 'not interested in Nelson Semedo deal'

Manchester City reportedly have little interest in entertaining the arrival of Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo during the next transfer window.

Manchester City reportedly have no interest in signing Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo.

Given their need to raise transfer funds for new arrivals, the Catalan giants are allegedly open to parting ways with the right-back.

City have been strongly linked with the Portugal international, potentially in relation to a swap deal which could include Joao Cancelo.

However, Marca says that the Premier League outfit will not be making a move for Semedo in the coming months.

Although the 26-year-old still has just over two years left on his contract, Barcelona want to maximise the fee which can be generated from his sale.

Juventus and Inter Milan have also been suggested as possible destinations for the player.
