Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will reportedly be able to spend up to £100m in the January transfer window if he wants to strengthen his squad.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will reportedly be allowed to spend £100m in January.

The Citizens have experienced a busy summer, with Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and Oleksandr Zinchenko leaving the club, while they have made a number of signings

After adding Erling Braut Haaland, Julian Alvarez, Kalvin Phillips and Sergio Gomez to their squad, City are not expected to make any further additions before the transfer window closes.

However, according to The Sun, Guardiola will be given £100m to spend if he wants to strengthen his side in January.

The report suggests that the Man City boss will be allowed the funds to sign any players that he is impressed by at the World Cup.

City have spent in the region of £104m in the current transfer window, while they have reportedly received nearly £250m in player sales since January.
