Atletico Madrid have reportedly won the race to sign Benfica youngster Joao Felix.
The newly-capped Portugal international contributed 19 goals during his first season of senior football, a return which has acted as the catalyst for a hotly-contested race for his signature.
Manchester City have been regarded as the favourites to secure a deal for the 19-year-old after showing a willingness to meet the playmaker's release clause.
However, according to Marca, Felix will link up with Atletico after the La Liga runners-up also indicated that they were happy to pay £107m this summer.
Atletico will receive almost exactly that fee should Antoine Griezmann complete his switch to another club in the coming weeks, leaving Felix to come in as a like-for-like replacement.body check tags ::
