Report: European trio pursue Roberto Mancini

French duo PSG and Monaco are both lining up former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini as their future manager, while Napoli are also interested in hiring the Italian, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain, AS Monaco and Napoli are all reportedly interested in hiring Roberto Mancini after the Italian's sacking by Manchester City.

Following days of speculation, Mancini was dismissed by the Citizens on Monday night, a year to the day after delivering the Premier League title to the Etihad Stadium.

According to the Daily Express, newly-promoted Monaco are prepared to shaft current boss Claudio Ranieri and appoint Mancini to spend their billions in Ligue 1 next campaign.

However, The Times reports that PSG, who turned down an approach from Real Madrid for coach Carlo Ancelotti on Monday, are lining up Mancini as a replacement for the former Chelsea chief should Los Blancos tempt him away from France.

The same report also claims that Serie A outfit Napoli are hoping to capitalise on Mancini's availability by offering him an immediate return to management in his native land.
