Sam Allardyce: 'Manchester City a wounded animal'

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce believes that Manchester City are a "wounded animal" ahead of their Premier League match tomorrow.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce believes that Manchester City will be determined to end their slump when the two sides face each other at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

City have lost five league games in 2015, one more than all of 2014, most recently succumbing to rivals Manchester United 4-2 last weekend.

Allardyce is wary that City will look to regain the faith of their supporters, with their Premier League defence almost certainly falling short.

"Maybe City are a wounded animal and they might come out all guns blazing or they might be tentative. We won't know until the match starts," Allardyce told reporters.

"We are expecting them to put in a determined performance in front of their own fans."

West Ham are currently 10th in the league, after a strong start to the season saw them chasing European qualification.
