Manchester City confirm that Sergio Aguero will return to training by the end of the week after recovering from a recent knee injury.

Manchester City have confirmed that Sergio Aguero will return to training by the end of the week after recovering from a recent knee injury.

The Argentine international has been sidelined since the end of May after picking up the problem during the club's pre-season trip to the USA.

Aguero scored 17 goals in all competitions for City last term.

The former Premier League champions play their final pre-season friendly against Arsenal in Helsinki on Saturday.
