Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan reportedly join the race for Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, who is set to become a free agent in the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have reportedly joined the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Dutchman's contract situation at Anfield is yet to be resolved, and as things stand his deal with the Premier League champions will expire in the summer.

Wijnaldum continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona in order to reunite with Ronald Koeman, but the Catalan giants are expected to face fierce competition for the midfielder's signature.

According to Le Parisien, PSG are eyeing midfield reinforcements and have taken a liking to Wijnaldum, so a summer swoop for the soon-to-be free agent could be on the cards.

However, a separate report from FC Inter News claims that the Nerazzurri are also keeping a close eye on developments, with Wijnaldum looking increasingly likely to end his five-year stint at Anfield in a few months' time.

Despite the ongoing speculation over his future, Wijnaldum has remained a key player for Jurgen Klopp this term, chalking up two goals in 25 Premier League appearances.
