Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has distanced himself from rumours linking him with a switch to Liverpool by insisting that he has not held talks with the Premier League outfit.
Recently, reports claimed that Reds manager Brendan Rodgers had flown out to Italy to hold discussions about a possible transfer.
It has been claimed that Roma will only entertain the idea of selling Pjanic in the summer if they receive a bid of £37m from Liverpool.
However, the player himself has dismissed speculation by telling reporters: "It's not time to talk about a transfer, but there has been no contact [with Liverpool]. I am only focused on Roma."
Pjanic is believed to have been identified by Rodgers as a replacement for Steven Gerrard, who will leave for MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of the season.
