Manchester City launch second bid for Liverpool's Raheem Sterling?

Manchester City make a second bid for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling, according to a report.

Manchester City have reportedly tabled an improved bid for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling.

The England international is said to have recently attracted an offer worth £30m from City, which the Merseysiders rejected.

The 20-year-old has been linked with an exit from Anfield after his agent claimed that he had no intention of signing a new contract with the Reds.

According to Sky Sports News, Liverpool have received a second bid from City for Sterling which is in the region of £40m.

Sterling has two years remaining on his current deal at Liverpool.
