Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all want to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly locked in a three-way battle with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.

The 28-year-old's existing deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire next summer, meaning that as it stands he would be free to discuss a pre-contract with a foreign club in January.

The Austria international remains a key figure for the treble winners, making 10 appearances in all competitions this season, but the defender's time in Germany could be coming to an end.

According to Marca, Madrid are firmly in the hunt for Alaba, but Liverpool and PSG are preparing to battle the Spanish giants for the Austrian's signature.

The nine-time Bundesliga winner has made 396 appearances in all competitions for Bayern, who completed the treble last season by winning the Champions League.

Alaba is thought to favour a move to La Liga over the Premier League.
