Rhian Brewster 'stunned Liverpool want to sell him'

Forward Rhian Brewster is reportedly left stunned that Liverpool are open to selling him before the end of the summer transfer window.

Rhian Brewster was reportedly left stunned when it emerged that Liverpool were open to selling him this summer.

Despite having been restricted to appearances in cup competitions for Liverpool, his performances on loan at Swansea City looked to have put the 20-year-old in a position to impress at Anfield.

However, the additions of Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota have left the Premier League champions needing to balance their books over the coming weeks.

According to The Sun, Brewster was unhappy when learning that there was truth in the speculation regarding his long-term future.

Liverpool are also insisting on a buy-back clause being included in any deal which takes the England Under-21 international away from Merseyside.

Brewster is said to favour a transfer to Crystal Palace, who may move for the youngster if they can find a buyer for Christian Benteke.
