Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers "looking forward" to Manchester City clash

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says that he is relishing the prospect of taking on Manchester City on Boxing Day.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has said that he is looking forward to his side's clash against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Boxing Day.

The Reds are currently a point clear of Manuel Pellegrini's team at the top of the Premier League.

"We have been on a fantastic run, the quality of our football is at a really high level - we're pressing the game very well, our aggression to get the ball back is good," Liverpool's official website quotes him as saying.

"We'll arrive there on Boxing Day in a really good moment. It's a game I'm really looking forward to."

Arsenal will reclaim top spot from Liverpool on Monday if they beat Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
