Dejan Lovren: "Bad times are behind" Liverpool

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren claims that the "bad times are behind" the club following their turnaround in form.

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has claimed that the "bad times are behind" the club following their turnaround in form.

The Reds endured a miserable few months towards the back end of last year, but haven't lost in the Premier League since a 3-0 reverse to Manchester United in mid-December, and the Croatian international has hailed the return to form.

"In the last two-and-a-half to three months we've been doing so, so well - we've taken so many points," he told the club's official website. "We are proud, but we don't need to stop here - we need to continue like this, work hard and focus on each game so we are confident.

"The basis from the start is that we are together - we are always like a team, in bad times and also in good times.

"The first couple of months didn't go so well, but now you can see the real shape of the team. Everything has settled down and the manager has solved everything. The bad times are behind us."

Brendan Rodgers's side return to action when they travel to Besiktas in the Europa League on Thursday.
