Liverpool ace Adam Lallana "very excited" to work with Jurgen Klopp

Adam Lallana says that he cannot wait to begin playing under newly-appointed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool playmaker Adam Lallana has admitted that he is "very excited" about playing under new manager Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers on Thursday before being unveiled to the media on Friday, and the England ace says that he cannot wait to begin working with the eccentric German.

"I am excited, very excited, to work with the new manager," Lallana, who could feature for the Three Lions in their Euro 2016 qualifier in Lithuania tonight, told The Mirror.

"I saw the press conference and, like everyone there and the reaction he is getting, it is going to be exciting.

"I have obviously got one more game with England and I am fully focused on it, but I am excited to get back to the club afterwards."

The 48-year-old will make his Reds bow when Liverpool travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
