Demarai Gray ready for Leicester City debut against Tottenham Hotspur in FA Cup

Demarai Gray is in line to make his debut for Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup third round on Sunday after joining the Foxes from Birmingham City.

Claudio Ranieri has revealed that Demarai Gray could make his Leicester City debut in the FA Cup third round against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The 19-year-old completed his move to the Foxes earlier this week and there were initial reports that he could be loaned back to Birmingham City for the remainder of the season.

However, Leicester quickly dismissed that speculation and Ranieri today suggested that the winger could feature at White Hart Lane this weekend with several changes likely.

"He is young, he's got good quality and he can grow a lot with us," Foxes boss Ranieri told reporters.

"He can play as a winger, he's fast and has good skills. One-on-one he's good. He's perfect for us.

"He's able to play Sunday. The league is our priority but we think about the Cup. I think about the players who haven't played."

Gray scored eight goals in 78 appearances during his time with Birmingham.
