Sunday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Salernitana

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Salernitana.

Atalanta vs. Cremonese (Sunday, 11.30am)

League leaders after the first five rounds in Serie A, Atalanta BC look to continue their recent revival by extending Cremonese's woes on Sunday afternoon.

While La Dea went two points clear at the top of the standings by beating Monza last weekend, their visitors arrive in Bergamo having just ended a four-game losing streak since promotion in May.

We say: Atalanta BC 1-0 Cremonese

Atalanta should continue to capitalise on a fairly soft start to their schedule by beating Serie A newcomers once again. However, it may be by just a one-goal margin against an improving Cremonese side, who will have to wait for their first league win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Bologna vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Having made the difficult decision to part ways with their manager just five rounds into the Serie A season, Bologna will aim for a first league win of the 2022-23 campaign against Fiorentina on Sunday.

While Sinisa Mihajlovic departed Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in midweek, closing his second spell at the club, the Rossoblu's opponents arrive in Emilia-Romagna following a six-game winless run.

We say: Bologna 1-2 Fiorentina

Fiorentina took plenty of shots at goal in midweek, but came away with only one goal, and with a little more precision they can take exploit Bologna's predicament on Sunday. The Viola do not fare well outside of Florence, but their hosts' confidence remains brittle.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Lecce vs. Monza (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Lecce take on Monza in Serie A on Sunday, with both teams still looking for their first wins of the season.

Both sides were promoted from Serie B last season, and they have clearly found it tough to adjust to the step-up in the early weeks of the campaign.

We say: Lecce 1-1 Monza

Neither side have scored many goals so far this season, and we would not be surprised if it is a low-scoring draw on Sunday between two teams low on confidence.

The visitors would likely take that outcome to put a stop to their losing streak as they attempt to gain belief that they can compete at this level.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Sassuolo vs. Udinese (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Sassuolo entertain Udinese in Serie A on Sunday, with the visitors looking to continue their excellent start to the season having taken 10 points from five matches so far.

Sassuolo, meanwhile, head into Sunday's clash having drawn three successive games.

We say: Sassuolo 1-2 Udinese

We can envisage the visitors' winning streak continuing on Sunday, especially with the hosts lacking firepower without the injured Berardi.

Udinese are playing with renewed confidence under Sottil's management and look capable of scoring plenty of goals.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Having responded to their first loss of the 2022-23 campaign with a European victory in midweek, Lazio welcome Hellas Verona to Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

Days after seeing their unbeaten start halted by Napoli in Serie A, the Roman club saw off Feyenoord in their Europa League opener; while their visitors arrive in the capital after finally posting a first win.

We say: Lazio 2-1 Hellas Verona

Verona might have shown a certain resilience on the road in recent times - often turning potential defeats into draws - but Lazio are capable of opening up their defence multiple times and should get another victory over the line.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Juventus vs. Salernitana (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After suffering their first defeat of the season in midweek, Juventus aim to get back to winning ways on Sunday evening, as they host Salernitana in Serie A.

The Bianconeri were beaten in their Champions League opener in Paris, and have won just two of their six games so far; while their visitors arrive in Turin only three points and three places below them in the standings.

We say: Juventus 2-0 Salernitana

Remarkably, given their former supremacy at the Allianz Stadium, the last time Juventus managed successive home wins in Serie A was back in March - with Salernitana being their second victims on that occasion. The hosts will achieve that minor feat again on Sunday, but it is unlikely to be pretty.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
