Giuseppe Marotta: 'Massimiliano Allegri's future is secure'

Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta says that the Italian club's head coach Massimiliano Allegri will remain in his current position "for a long time".

Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has insisted that the Italian club's head coach Massimiliano Allegri will remain in his current position "for a long time".

Allegri has delivered three successive Serie A titles since replacing Antonio Conte as head coach of the Italian giants.

Chelsea are said to be considering an approach for Allegri if they fail to lure Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone to Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.

However, Marotta has suggested that Allegri will sign another long-term contract with the Italian giants in due course.

"He still has a two-year contract, but he will stay with us for a long time," Marotta told Rai Sport.

Allegri, who previously spent four years in charge of AC Milan, has also landed three Coppa Italia crowns since taking control of Juventus.
