Steve Bruce happy with Hull City start

Hull City manager Steve Bruce says that he is delighted with his side's start to the Premier League season.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has said that he is happy with his side's start to the Premier League season.

The Tigers are currently in eighth place in the table after taking 11 points from their opening seven matches.

Hull extended their unbeaten run to five games in all competitions on Saturday with a goalless draw with Aston Villa at home.

"To be fair to them, all of the players have settled well and that is why we are where we are," Brice told the club's official website.

"We've had seven games and we've taken 11 points, and that's after going to Newcastle, Manchester City and Chelsea.

"It's gone well and if somebody had said that to me, I would have snatched their hand off because we have to remember that we're a newly-promoted team."

Hull are back in action on October 19 when they travel to Everton in the Premier League.
