Paul Dixon praises Chris Powell's impact at Huddersfield Town

Paul Dixon praises the positivity of Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell, which he says is reflected in the club's recent results.

Huddersfield Town defender Paul Dixon has admitted that there is a real "buzz" around the club at the moment following their recent unbeaten run.

New manager Chris Powell has managed to turn around the Terriers' fortunes, having now seen his side go six games without defeat.

Dixon, who made his first start under Powell in the 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town last time out, has now targeted three more points against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

"Things are really positive and there's a buzz about the place," the Scotland international is quoted as saying by The Huddersfield Daily Examiner. "The manager is very positive, his coaching staff are too and I think that's beginning to show in our games.

"It was great to get a point at Ipswich, which is never an easy place to go, and we showed a lot of character to come back from 2-0 down and, ultimately, we could have won because we had chances.

"From my point of view, I was just very happy to be back in the team and, hopefully, I did enough to make sure I stay there for Saturday."

Huddersfield are currently 17th in the Championship table.
