Joachim Low: 'I never doubted Germany's Euro 2016 qualification hopes'

Germany coach Joachim Low says that he has always had every confidence in his side to qualify for the upcoming Euro 2016 showpiece in France.

Germany coach Joachim Low has insisted that he has never had any doubts regarding his side's ability to qualify for Euro 2016.

Die Mannschaft have put themselves in a strong position to guarantee their progress into the tournament after recent wins over Poland and Scotland, much to the delight of Low, who has stated that his charges are learning quickly as a group.

"I never had any doubt. I was always convinced we'd be able to qualify, but even I was surprised how quickly the team could take things in when I had a full crop of players," Low told the German Football Association's official website.

"They only needed three or four training sessions to make things work, which is one of this side's key strengths.

"Last year we rotated the team a lot, so you couldn't demand too much of them. This week, however, I've been convinced that the team is very strong. When we're given time, things work very well."

Germany have won the European Championship on three occasions.
