Sascha Riether extends Fulham contract

Fulham's right-back Sascha Riether signs a new three-year contract with the London club.

Fulham right-back Sascha Riether has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club for the next three seasons.

Riether spent last season on loan at the Cottagers and only penned a permanent deal in May, but he said that his love for the club made it easy to commit his future.

"I'm happy to have got the deal done," Riether told the club's official website.

"I like it here - I love Fulham, I love the fans, I love the club, and I'm happy that we could close this deal now. It's the start of the season and we are well prepared so I'm looking forward to the future."

Fulham's season begins with a trip to Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
