Fulham have reportedly made an offer to Tottenham Hotspur of £5m for midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
Manager Martin Jol is said to have made signing a central midfield player one his major targets before tomorrow's 11pm deadline.
Having considered a number of options, the Dutch coach has decided upon Huddlestone, whom he worked with during his stint in charge of Tottenham up until 2007, according to the Daily Mail.
The 26-year-old has made over 150 appearances for Spurs since his arrival from Derby County in 2005, however, he has found starting opportunities hard to come by for the majority of the current campaign.
