Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic insists that he is focused on the club's Premier League campaign rather than worrying about his contract.

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has played down talk of a new contract at Craven Cottage.

The Serbian, who was appointed in December 2015, reportedly delayed discussions about extending his commitment to the London club, which he led to victory in the Championship playoffs last term.

However, Jokanovic insists that he is only worried about his team, who have lost their opening two fixtures and will be seeking their first Premier League points of the season when Burnley visit on Sunday.

"This is not the first time I get this question, I prefer not to talk about private things," Jokanovic told reporters. "This job is in the hands of my agent and the club.

"At the moment I am only focused about the Premier League, and fully motivated to do everything to be successful for the team and the club.

"I am really not talking all day with the club about money, I am working on the pitch, I am the head coach here."

Jokanovic is currently contracted to Fulham until the end of the season.
