Didier Deschamps: Yohan Cabaye "totally fit" for Switzerland

Didier Deschamps says that Yohan Cabaye is "totally fit" to start France's World Cup clash with Switzerland.

France boss Didier Deschamps has confirmed that midfielder Yohan Cabaye is "totally fit" to face Switzerland in tonight's World Cup clash in Salvador.

The Paris Saint-Germain playmaker lasted just 65 minutes of Les Bleus' 3-0 win over Honduras last Sunday after being forced off with a groin injury.

However, Deschamps says that Cabaye has shaken off the complaint in time to face Ottmar Hitzfeld's side later on today.

"Yohan is totally fit," the coach confirmed in his pre-game press conference. "He's recovered, he trained today so there is no problem with him."

Tonight's Group E encounter kicks off at 8pm.
