Preview: Everton vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole previews Tottenham Hotspur's trip to Everton on Sunday.

Everton will be looking to continue their impressive recent form when Tottenham Hotspur visit Goodison Park on Sunday.

Roberto Martinez's side have won five and lost one of their last six games. Last weekend's 2-0 victory over Aston Villa moved the Toffees up to sixth place in the table.

Tottenham have won four of their last six league games, including last Saturday's 1-0 success over Hull City.

Andre Villas-Boas's men also defeated the same opponents on penalties in the League Cup on Tuesday evening.

Everton striker Arouna Kone will miss the match due a knee injury, while John Heitinga is set to return to the squad after the defender missed the last two matches with a muscle problem.

Spurs defender Danny Rose will miss out with a foot injury, although Andros Townsend is expected to play after recovering from a nasty fall sustained during the match against Hull last weekend.
