Crystal Palace call 5.30pm press conference

Premier League side Crystal Palace will hold a press conference at 5.30pm today.

Premier League side Crystal Palace have confirmed that they will hold a press conference at 5.30pm today.

The announcement has been made in the wake of speculation surrounding the future of manager Ian Holloway.

It has been reported that Holloway will be in attendance at the Soho Hotel, along with co-chairman Steve Parish.

Although the club have refused to comment on the reason behind the press conference, reports from journalists on the social networking site Twitter have suggested that Holloway's departure as boss could be confirmed.

Following Monday night's 4-1 home defeat at the hands of London rivals Fulham, the Eagles are 19th in the Premier League after eight matches.
