Arda Turan says that he is not interested in a move to Chelsea or Liverpool and wants to stay at Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan has denied rumours that he could be about to leave the Spanish capital by insisting that he wants to stay at the club.

The 26-year-old has impressed in La Liga this season which has resulted in reported interest from Premier League pair Chelsea and Liverpool.

However, after the Copa del Rey winners secured Champions League football, Turan sees no reason as to why he should leave the Vicente Calderon.

"I am going to stay with Atletico," Turan told reporters.

"I cried for five minutes after the final game of the season because it was like being in another dimension.

"It was impossible to stop the tears. This team fought with spirit, blood and faith."

Turan joined Atletico from Galatasaray in 2011.
