Chinese outfit Guizhou Renhe have confirmed that they are in talks with Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard.
The 34-year-old is widely expected to depart the Blues at the end of the season when his contract expires, although it had been suggested that he would move to America.
However, Renhe deputy head chairman Yang Xiayou told reporters: "Yes, we are in contact with Lampard but so far nothing has been settled."
Meanwhile, reports in China have suggested that Lampard could join the Chinese Super League outfit as early as January.
