Paulinho plays down talk of Tottenham Hotspur exit

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho plays down talk of a move away from White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho has said that he will not leave the club in the summer amid reports of a move to Chelsea.

The Brazilian, 26, joined Spurs last year and has made 35 appearances in all competitions during a frustrating season where the club missed out on Champions League qualification.

"I know how to handle my career and it'll take more than just one bad moment before I reconsider my options," Paulinho told FourFourTwo.

"We have all got responsibilities at Tottenham and we are ready to go through this."

Paulinho was named in Luiz Felipe Scolari's Brazil squad for the World Cup last week.
