Premier League giants Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain starlet Ismael Gharbi.

The 17-year-old will see his contract at the Parc des Princes expire this summer, and he is now free to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs.

Gharbi has trained regularly with Mauricio Pochettino's first-team squad this season, but his long-term future with the Ligue 1 leaders remains uncertain, which is understood to have alerted a number of European clubs.

According to Goal, both Liverpool and Chelsea are closely monitoring the youngster and they are considering moves to sign the playmaker when his deal runs out in June.

As Gharbi currently has a slim chance of establishing himself as a first-team regular, a potential exit from PSG this summer is more likely at this stage.

The France Under-18s international has scored only one goal in 10 appearances for PSG's youth side this season.

Xavi Simons is another PSG academy star who is at risk of leaving for free at the end of this season, with the Barcelona-linked midfielder out of contract this summer.
