Crystal Palace are reportedly contemplating whether to make an approach for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, who may be in line to move to Sevilla.

Crystal Palace have reportedly identified Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma as a potential summer transfer target.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that the Frenchman could sign for Sevilla as part of a deal which would involve Jules Kounde moving to Stamford Bridge.

A number of reports have suggested that Chelsea favour that arrangement as they look to reduce their financial outlay for his compatriot.

However, according to Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard, Palace have also been monitoring any developments with the 26-year-old's future.

The Eagles have already spent in excess of £30m on fellow Blues defender Marc Guehi and Lyon centre-back Joachim Andersen.

With Chelsea valuing Zouma in the region of £25m, Palace may opt for a cheaper alternative as Patrick Vieira looks to strengthen other areas of his squad.
