Chelsea have reportedly not yet made an offer to Wembley to play their matches at the national stadium while Stamford Bridge is redeveloped.
Reports earlier today suggested that the Blues had outbid fellow Premier League Londoners Tottenham Hotspur, who are also keen on using Wembley while their new stadium is built, with an £11m offer.
However, according to PA, Chelsea have not made a concrete bid and only held preliminary discussions with Wembley over using the stadium in North-West London.
The Blues have not yet been granted planning permission and also are not sure exactly how long they will need to relocate for.
There is a possibility that both Chelsea and Spurs will want to use Wembley at the same time in around two years. Spurs have considered playing their matches at MK Dons' stadium:mk if they aren't successful with a Wembley bid, while Chelsea could move to the home of English rugby, Twickenham.
