Jose Mourinho agrees a four-year deal with Chelsea worth £250,000 a week and will fly to London next month, according to reports.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed a four-year deal with Chelsea ahead of his imminent return to Stamford Bridge.

The Portuguese boss, who was announced to be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the current campaign, has long been tipped as the man to succeed interim boss Rafael Benitez at the Europa League champions.

The deal looks likely to be confirmed at the beginning of next month, with Mourinho scheduled to fly to his London home on June 2, according to the Daily Star.

Mourinho will jet into England the day after his final game in charge of the La Liga outfit to pen a deal worth £250,000 a week which amounts to a £50m contract, three times the amount he received when he first arrived at the Blues.

The 50-year-old will be accompanied on the trip by his fitness coach Rui Faria and goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro, but it now looks unlikely that he will bring Cristiano Ronaldo to the club due to their tarnished relationship.

Mourinho previously spent three years in charge at Chelsea until 2007.
