Jose Mourinho: 'Chelsea have no chance of title win'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says that his side have no chance of winning the Premier League title, despite their victory over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that his side have no chance of winning the Premier League title, despite their victory over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues claimed a 2-0 win as they moved to within two points of the league leaders, but Mourinho has insisted that the title is still beyond their reach.

"No, I don't think we can win the title... because we have no chance," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "We were waiting for this match to be the title match, we were speaking about it being for a long time but for some reason this match didn't become the title match.

"We need one more point to finish third and if we do that we are in the Champions League automatic.

"We don't want a trophy but we can say we won both matches against the champions because we have beaten Liverpool and City twice."

Chelsea are next in action when they host Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday.
