Chelsea defender David Luiz reveals that his side have adapted to the playing style of interim manager Rafael Benitez.

Chelsea defender David Luiz has revealed that his side have improved their confidence since the arrival of interim manager Rafael Benitez.

Benitez arrived at Stamford Bridge with the club struggling both domestically and in Europe, but after the former Liverpool boss oversaw the club's passage to the Europa League final, Luiz expressed his desire to finish the season with some success

The 26-year-old told Chelsea TV: "All season, we've tried our best, but now the team has more confidence to play together and in the philosophy of Rafa Benitez.

"Everyone wants to play in the Champions League next year, everyone wants to win one title this season. We need to show the character, to show our best and to win the Europa League title."

Luiz has impressed for Chelsea in recent weeks, scoring decisive goals in both the first and the second leg matches with Basel in the Europa League semi-finals.
