Burnley manager Sean Dyche has put his side's Premier League relegation battle into perspective by saying that there are "more important" things in life.
The Clarets are currently at the bottom of the table, two points away from safety with five games left to play.
On Saturday, Dyche's side will welcome Leicester City, who are two points above Burnley, to Turf Moor in a crucial showdown that could prove to be pivotal in their race for survival.
Despite the enormity surrounding Burnley's future, Dyche has called for perspective by disagreeing with the famous words of legendary Liverpool manager Bill Shankly, who once said: "Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that."
Dyche told reporters: "I am used to [pressure]. It is there for all to know about, but I try to know where it lives in life. It is football.
"I disagree with Bill Shankly - it is not more important than life or death, in my opinion. It is very important in my life, very important in the players' lives, very important in supporters' lives, but people have different things that go on their lives that overshadow football matches."
After Leicester, Burnley will play West Ham United, Hull City, Stoke City and Aston Villa.
