Sean Dyche happy with gritty Burnley win

Burnley manager Sean Dyche says that "a moment of fine quality" decided the points at Portman Road this afternoon.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has described Scott Arfield's winner against Ipswich Town as "a fine moment of quality".

The Scottish striker headed home Kieran Trippier's cross to seal the points 10 minutes from the end at Portman Road.

"It is all about small margins," PA quotes Dyche as saying. "They had the better of the first half but we had a solid framework, did the basics and were solid enough not to concede.

"The second half levelled out, although there were pockets of good play. I was thinking it was going to be a 0-0, and then a fine moment of quality saw a good cross and a good header.

"I think both pairs of centre-forwards are all very good but defences were on top. We had to find a way to overcome that and we did with some very good play."

The Clarets now top the Championship table by two points.
