Bristol City are relegated to League One because of tonight's home defeat to Birmingham City.

Bristol City have been relegated to League One because of tonight's defeat at home to Birmingham.

The Robins had been cut adrift of the extremely tight relegation fight above them but tonight's result confirmed their demise.

It ends the club's six-year stint in the second tier of English football.

As it stands, the club will be joined by Barnsley and Huddersfield in dropping down to League One.
