A report claims that Championship outfit Blackpool have turned down Reading's £7m offer for attacker Thomas Ince.

Championship side Blackpool have reportedly turned down Reading's offer for Thomas Ince.

Reading manager Brian McDermott confirmed earlier this afternoon that the Royals had submitted a bid for the 20-year-old.

However, the Seasiders are keen to keep hold of their attacker until at least the summer and as a result have rejected the offer, which was believed to be worth £7m, according to Sky Sports News.

The report went on to claim that Reading have now withdrawn their bid and are not planning to renew their interest in the England youth international.
