Paul Ince: 'There's work to do'

Blackpool boss Paul Ince admits that "there is a lot to work on" for his new team following Wednesday's defeat at Leeds United in the Championship.

New Blackpool manager Paul Ince has admitted that "there is a lot to work on" for his side following Wednesday's 2-0 defeat at Leeds United in the Championship.

Ince's reign in charge of the Seasiders got off to a losing start at Elland Road as goals from David Norris and Steve Morison earned the hosts the win.

"It would have been nice to start with a win, but this time last week I was sitting in my lounge or walking the dog in the garden, so it's good to be back in football," the former midfielder told Sky Sports News.

"It is early doors. I've only been through the door for two days and there is a lot to work on. We are not organised or structured at this moment, you can see that.

"The most important thing is to reach 50 points, so let's get back to winning and take things from there."

The defeat has left Blackpool in 15th place in the table with 40 points.
