Dani Alves wants Barcelona return?

Brazil defender Dani Alves wants to return to Barcelona ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, according to a report.

Experienced defender Dani Alves is reportedly desperate to return to Barcelona this summer.

Alves recently announced that he would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this month following the expiration of his contract.

According to RAC1, the defender has been offering himself to Barca over the last month, but the Spanish champions are not interested in re-signing the 36-year-old ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

Alves made close to 400 appearances for the Catalan giants between 2008 and 2016, winning six La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns during his time at Camp Nou.

The full-back - currently in action for Brazil at the Copa America - left Barca for Juventus in 2016 and spent one season with the Italian giants before moving to Paris.

Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo shared the right-back berth for Ernesto Valverde's side last term.
