Deportivo striker Luis Pizzi insists that Lionel Messi is not Barcelona's only threat ahead of their match on Saturday.

Deportivo La Coruna striker Luis Pizzi has insisted that Lionel Messi is not Barcelona's only threat ahead of Saturday's La Liga encounter.

It has been rumoured that Messi will start on the bench for the league leaders at the Estadio Municipal de Riazor after being on international duty with Argentina.

"Of course it would be better if Messi didn't play, but Barca are not only Messi - they are [Andres] Iniesta, and Xavi [Hernandez]," Pizzi told reporters.

"They're all good and we will try to stop them all. They are one of the best teams in the world, if not the best."

Messi has scored 11 goals in 12 games for Barcelona so far this season.
