Barcelona have been disappointed with Philippe Coutinho's performances since arriving at the club, according to a report.

Barcelona have reportedly been disappointed with Philippe Coutinho's performances since arriving at the club.

Coutinho joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January, with the Spanish giants believed to have paid in excess of £140m to bring the versatile attacker to Camp Nou.

The Brazil international has scored 15 times and registered nine assists in 37 appearances for Barcelona, including five goals in 15 games for the Spanish champions this season.

However, according to Marca, Coutinho has not been meeting Barcelona's expectations since making the move, with his performances considered too inconsistent.

The 26-year-old, who started his professional career at Inter Milan, scored 54 times in 201 appearances for Liverpool ahead of a move to Spain.
