Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Real Valladolid could line up in Monday's La Liga clash with Barcelona.

Real Valladolid will be attempting to stretch their unbeaten run in La Liga to five matches when they travel to Camp Nou on Monday evening to face Barcelona.

Sergio Gonzalez's side, who are currently 16th in the table, three points clear of the relegation zone, will again be without the services of a number of first-team players this weekend.

Jota, Pablo Hervias, Raul Garcia and Kiko Olivas remain on the sidelines through injury, while Fabian Orellana will be unavailable for selection through suspension.

Valladolid will also be without five players through coronavirus, with Luis Perez, Kike Perez, Michel, Joaquin Fernandez and Roberto Jimenez all returning positive tests.

There is a chance that Maranhao could be available for selection, though, with the 24-year-old, who has scored three La Liga goals this season, recovering from the problem that has kept him on the sidelines since December.

Jordi Masip is expected to start between the sticks against his former club, while there should also be positions in the back three for Bruno Gonzalez and Javi Sanchez.

Oscar Plano could be handed an advanced midfield role, meanwhile, with Sergi Guardiola and Shon Weissman likely to operate at the front two, potentially leaving fit-again Maranhao on the bench.

Real Valladolid possible starting lineup: Masip; Sanchez, Gonzalez, El Yamiq; Janko, Alcaraz, Mesa, Olaza; Plano; Weissman, Guardiola
