Neymar: 'I will not change my style'

Barcelona forward Neymar insists that his perceived showboating on the field will always be part of his game amid accusations of disrespect after the Copa del Rey final.

Barcelona forward Neymar has insisted that he will not change his style on the football pitch despite criticism over perceived showboating.

The Brazilian brought an angry reaction from a number of Athletic Bilbao players when he tried an elaborate trick in the latter stages of Saturday's Copa del Rey final.

Barcelona were 3-1 up at the time, and the act was seen as a mark of disrespect to Bilbao, but Neymar has stressed that he will not alter his playing style to please other people.

"I don't know why they reacted like that. It's my way of playing," he told TV3.

"I have always played like that and I am not going to change because some people get angry. It was a move like any other. These things happen in football."

Neymar scored Barcelona's second goal at the Camp Nou, after Lionel Messi had netted a memorable opener.
