Nathan Baker to make loan switch to Bristol City?

Bristol City reportedly emerge as the favourites to complete the loan signing of Aston Villa defender Nathan Baker before the end of the transfer window.

Aston Villa defender Nathan Baker has reportedly emerged as a loan target for Bristol City.

Earlier this summer, Baker penned a new long-term contract at Villa Park, but the 24-year-old could spend the 2015-16 campaign in the Championship.

According to BBC WM, Bristol City are favourites to sign Baker, although Burnley have also been linked with a move for the former England Under-21 international.

Baker is yet to feature in the Premier League this season, with his only appearance coming in the League Cup victory against Notts County.
