Alex McLeish tells his Aston Villa team to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers for the club's fans.

Alex McLeish has called on his Aston Villa players to win this lunchtime’s Midlands derby against Wolverhampton Wanderers for the club’s supporters.

The manager has demanded nothing less than 100% from his team and hopes that the Villa Park crowd will back his side.

"In professional sport you can't guarantee results. But what I expect from my players is that they give the Villa fans everything,” McLeish told the club’s official website.

"I want them to come back in after the game and say 'I can't have given any more. I want them to go and express themselves and go and play without fear.

"We are at Villa Park, we expect a vociferous crowd to back the lads.”

Former Birmingham City boss McLeish has yet to be beaten during his time in charge of Villa.
