Jacob Walcott, cousin of Arsenal and England's Theo, is handed a trial with Dutch club FC Utrecht.
A cousin of Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has been handed a trial with Dutch club FC Utrecht.
Jacob Walcott, who is currently on the books of Championship side Reading, spent time in Holland last season with second division side Telstar.
His form attracted the attention of scouts from Utrecht, who have now offered him a chance to earn a contract with the club.
Utrecht's director of football Foeke Booy told De Telegraaf: "We were not looking, but if we think this player could be an enhancement it could happen because it would cost very little."
Walcott, 18, signed professional terms with Reading in 2010.
