Wojciech Szczesny: 'I'm at Arsenal for good'

Wojciech Szczesny says that he is at Arsenal "for good" and will not leave the Gunners this summer.

Wojciech Szczesny has declared that he is at Arsenal "for good" and will not leave the club this summer.

The goalkeeper has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium after losing his position as first-choice stopper to David Ospina since the New Year, while reports have also linked the Gunners with a move for Chelsea's Petr Cech.

Szczesny, though, believes that his long-term future lies with the Gunners.

"I am very grateful for the manager, he has been good with me over these last couple of months and has shown all the faith in the world in me and I am very thankful for the chance to play in the cup final and am very glad of a clean sheet," the 25-year-old told BT Sport.

"[The media] like to speculate, but I am happy where I am.

"I have got all the support in the world from the manager and I have fantastic relations with him, so you can stop the gossip now because I am here for good. I will stay."

Szczesny played in Arsenal's 4-0 victory over Aston Villa in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
