Inter Milan tell Arsenal to fork out €90m (£76.8m) in order to land the signature of Lautaro Martinez, according to a report.

Arsenal have reportedly been told to fork out almost £77m if they want to secure the signature of Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Little progress has been made in attempts to tie the Argentine down to the Scudetto winners beyond 2023, and the club are therefore said to be open to a summer sale.

Barcelona tried and failed to prise Martinez away from San Siro last year, but the 23-year-old could supposedly be tempted by a move to Arsenal ahead of the 2021-22 season.

Martinez will not arrive on the cheap, though, as Tuttosport claims Inter are demanding a sum of €90m (£76.8m) to part ways with the much-coveted striker.

Inter reportedly have no interest in a part-exchange deal with Arsenal involving Alexandre Lacazette, which is believed to have put Atletico Madrid at the head of the queue for Martinez's signature as they prepare a straight-cash bid.

Martinez netted 17 goals and assisted 10 more in 38 Serie A appearances last term, and Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has supposedly identified Lazio's Joaquin Correa as a potential replacement.
